72:0 ԶԻ ՀՆԱԶԱՆԴՍ ԻՐԵՐԱՑ ԼԻՆԻՑԻՆ ԵՂԲԱՐՔՆ:
| 72:0 That the Brethren Be Obedient to One Another:

72:1 ԶՀՆԱԶԱՆԴՈՒԹԵԱՆ լաւութիւն ոչ Աբասուն միայն պարտ է պատշաճ է ցուցանել ամենեցուն, այլ եւ միմեանց եւս այնպէս հնազանդ լինիցին եղբարքն: Գիտասցեն, զի հնազանդութեան ճանապարհաւ ընթանալոց են առ Աստուած:
| 72:1 The brethren must render the service of obedience not only to the Abbot, but they must thus also obey one another, knowing that they shall go to God by this path of obedience:

72:2 Վասն որոյ յորժամ Աբասն կամ Վերակացուն որ ի նմանէն կարգիցի, որում հրամանս առանձինն տալ չառնումք յանձն, պատուիրան ինչ ումեք առաջի դնիցեն, արագ արագ կատարեսցեն:
| 72:2 Hence, granted the command of the Abbot and of the Superiors who are appointed by him:

72:3 Առ այսու դարձեալ, ամենայն կրսեր Առաջնորդի իւրում ամենայն սիրով եւ փութով հնազանդ լիցի:
| 72:3 in other respects let the younger brethren obey their elders with all charity and zeal:

72:4 Ապա թէ մաքառօղ ոք գտանիցի, կշտամբեալ յանդիմանեսցի:
| 72:4 But if anyone is found to be obstinate, let him be punished:

72:5 Եւ եթէ ոք յեղբարցն վասն որոյ եւ պէտ պատճառանաց ի հօրէն կամ յԱռաջնորդէ ումեքէ կշտամբեալ յանդիմանեսցի որով եւ է օրինակաւ, եւ կամ եթէ գիտասցէ, զի նա առ փոքր մի բարկութեան ոգւովն գրգռեալ է ընդ իւր կամ թէ սակաւ ինչ խռովեալ, անդէն վաղվաղակի յերեսս անկեալ յերկիր առ ոտսն նորա կայցէ մնայցէ, ցորժամ հաճեալ զմիտսն օրհնութեամբն բժշկեսցի աղմուկն:
| 72:5 And if a brother be punished in any way by the Abbot or by any of his Superiors for even a slight reason or ifhe perceive that the temper of any ofhis Superiors is but slightly ruffled or excited against him in the least, let him without delay cast himself down on the ground at his feet making satisfaction, until the agitation is quieted by a blessing:

72:6 Զորով թէ արհամարհիցէ ոք առնել, կամ ընդ մարմնոյ պատուհասիւք անկանիցի, կամ եթէ յամառեալ յանդգնեալ կայցէ մնայցէ, ի մենաստանէ անտի ի բաց մերժեսցի:
| 72:6 If anyone scorn to do this, either let him undergo corporal punishment, or, if he be obstinate, let him be expelled from the monastery:
