60:0 ՎԱՍՆ ՈՐԴՒՈՅ ԱԶՆՈՒԱՑՆ ԵՒ ԱՂՔԱՏԱՑ:
| 60:0 Of the Children of the Noble and of the Poor Who Are Offered:

60:1 Եթէ յազնուացն ոք զիւր որդեակն Աստուծոյ ընծայիցէ ի վանս, եւ ինքն մանուկն դեռ ի տխեղծ հասակի իցէ, զՊաղատանսն զոր վերագոյն ասացաք, նորա ծնօղքն առնիցեն:
| 60:1 If it happen that a nobleman offereth his son to God in the monastery and the boy is of tender age, let his parents execute the written promise which we have mentioned above:

60:2 Եւ ընդ ընծայութեանն եւ զնամակն Պաղատանաց եւ զձեռն մանկանն կտաւով սեղանոյն պատեալ, այնպէս ընծայեսցեն:
| 60:2 and with the oblation let them wrap that document and the boy' s hand in the altar cloth and thus offer him:

60:3 Իսկ յիւրոց իրաց կամ անդէն իսկ յընծայութեան ժամանակն խոստասցին երդմամբ չտալ ինչ նմա բնաւ ոչ անձամբ եւ ոչ յայլոյ ձեռն ոչ ինչ իւիք կերպարանօք, եւ ոչ պատճառս տալ նմա ունելոյ ինչ: Ապա թէ զայս առնել չկամիցին, այլ ընծայել ինչ ողորմութիւն մենաստանին յօժարեսցին վասն իւրեանց վարձուց, յիրաց զոր տալն կամիցին, առնիցեն պարգեւս. Պահեալ անձանց, եթէ այնպէս ինչ կամք իցեն, զշահս իրացն:
| 60:3 As to their property, let them bind themselves under oath in the same document that they will never give him anything themselves nor through any other person, nor in any way whatever, nor leave a chance for his owning anything; or else, if they refuse to do this and want to make an offering to the monastery as an alms for their own benefit, let them make a donation to the monastery of whatever goods they wish to give, reserving to themselves the income of it, if they so desire:

60:4 Եւ այս ամենայն կանխաւ վճարեսցին. զի մի կասկած ինչ ուստեք կայցէ մանկանն, որով պատրեալ, որ մի իսկ լիցի, կորիցէ. Զոր օրինակ փորձիւ ուսաք զիրսն:
| 60:4 And let everything be so barred that the boy remain in no uncertainty, which might deceive and ruin him {(which God forbid)}— a pass we have learned by experience:

60:5 Զնոյն եւ աղքատին առնիցեն: Այլ թէ չունիցին ինչ ամենեւին, զպաղատանսն լոկ առնիցեն. եւ ընդ ընծայութեան զորդեակն իւրեանց ընծայեսցեն առաջի վկայից:
| 60:5 Let those who are poor act in like manner. But as to those who have nothing at all, let them simply make the declaration, and with the oblation offer their son in the presence of witnesses:
