33:0 ՎԱՍՆ ԿԱՀՈՒՑ ԵՐԿԱԹԻՑ ԵՒ ԻՐԱՑ ՄԵՆԱՍՏԱՆԻ:
| 33:0 Of the Tools and Goods of the Monastery:
| 33:1 ՎԱՍՆ կահուց վանացն որ յերկաթոյ իցեն, կամ ի զգեստուց, կամ այլ որոց եւ պէտ իրաց ընտրեսցէ Հայրն եղբարս, յորոց վարսն եւ ի բարս վստահ իցէ: Եւ նոցա զամենայն, որպէս ինչ եւ շայեկան թուիցի, տայցէ ի պահպանութիւն եւ ի ժողովել:
| 33:1 Let the Abbot appoint brethren on whose life and character he can rely, over the property of the monastery in tools, clothing, and things generally, and let him assign to them, as he shall deem proper, all the articles which must be collected after use and stored away:
| 33:2 Յորոց Աբասն մուրհակ առ իւր ունիցի, զի յորժամ յայն պաշտամունս սահմանեալ եղբարքն զմիմեանս յաջորդեսցեն, գիտասցէ զինչ տայն եւ զինչ ընդունիցի:
| 33:2 Let the Abbot keep a list of these articles, so that, when the brethren in turn succeed each other in these trusts, he may know what he giveth and what he receiveth back:
| 33:3 Իսկ եթէ աղտեղիս ինչ եւ հեղգութեամբ զիրս վանացն վարիցէ ոք, կշտամբեալ յանդիմանեսցի. եւ եթէ ոչ ուղղեսցի, ընդ կանոնական խրատուն անկանիցի:
| 33:3 If anyone, however, handleth the goods of the monastery slovenly or carelessly let him be reprimanded and if he doth not amend let him come under the discipline of the Rule:
