58:0 ՎԱՍՆ ԱՐՈՒԵՍՏԱԳԻՏԱՑ ՎԱՆԱՑՆ:
| 58:0 Of the Artists of the Monastery:
| 58:1 ՃԱՐՏԱՐՔ եթէ գտանիցին ի վանսն, ամենայն խոնարհութեամբ իւրեանց արուեստին սկիցեն, եթէ տացէ նոցա Աբասն հրաման:
| 58:1 If there be skilled workmen in the monastery, let them work at their art in all humility, if the Abbot giveth his permission:
| 58:2 Եթէ ընդ իւրոյ արուեստին գիտութիւն ոք մեծամտիցէ, այնու զի նպաստ ինչ վանացն կարծիցէ լինել, զայնպիսին յիւրմէ արուեստէն բառնայցեն, եւ մի եւս յայն պարապեսցէ. բայց եթէ գուցէ խոնարհեալ վերստին հրաման ի հօրէն առնուցու:
| 58:2 But if anyone of them should grow proud by reason of his art, in that he seemeth to confer a benefit on the monastery, let him be removed from that work and not return to it, unless after he hath humbled himself, the Abbot again ordereth him to do so:
| 58:3 Այլ թէ վաճառել ինչ կայցէ ի գործոց արուեստագիտացն, տեսցեն այնոքիկ ընդ որոց ձեռն այնք անցանիցեն, զի մի նենգ ինչ յանդգնիցին գործել: Յուշ լիցին հանապազ Անանիայ եւ Շափիրայ իրքն , զի մի մահն զոր նոքա ի մարմնի կրեցին, սոքա կամ թէ բնաւ ամենեքին իսկ որ հնարս ինչ նենգաւ զվանացն իմանայցեն, յոգիսն կրիցեն:
| 58:3 But if any of the work of the artists is to be sold, let them, through whose hands the transaction must pass, see to it, that they do not presume to practice any fraud on the monastery. Let them always be mindful of Ananias and Saphira, lest, perhaps, the death which these suffered in the body {(cf Acts 5:1-11)}, they and all who practice any fraud in things belonging to the monastery suffer in the soul:
| 58:4 Այլ եւ ի գինս մի ագահութեան չարիք ի ներքս մտանիցեն. այլ միշտ փոքր մի եւս դիւրագնի քան զոր աշխարհիկքն վաճառիցեն, տացեն. Զի յամենայնի Աստուած փառաւորեսցի:
| 58:4 On the other hand, as regards the prices of these things, let not the vice of avarice creep in, but let it always be given a little cheaper than it can be given by seculars, That God May Be Glorified in All Things:
