Priest: Blessed be our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Դպիրքն. Եկեսցէ ի վերայ իմ ողորմութիւն քո. Choir: Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law. I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself. Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage:

| 9:6 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law. This I had, because I kept thy precepts. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually. Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word. My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me:
| 9:7 Անդ անկցին ամենեքեան ոյք գործեն զանօրէնութիւն. մերժեսցին եւ այլ մի՛ կարասցեն հաստատիլ: Ես ի Տէր յուսացայ. ցնծացայց եւ ուրախ եղէց յԱստուա՛ծ փրկիչ իմ: Տէ՛ր. Տէ՛ր. ետ ինձ զօրութիւն եւ կացոյց զոտս իմ ի հաստատութեան. ի վերայ պարանոցի թշնամւոյն կացոյց զիս. եւ հանգոյց զիս երագ. երագ: Որ բնակեալն է յօգնութիւն բարձրելոյն. ընդ հովանեաւ Աստուծոյ յերկինս հանգիցէ: Ասասցէ Տեառն` ընդունող իմ ես դու. ապաւէն իմ Աստուած` եւ ես յուսամ ի նա: Նա փրկեսցէ զիս յորոգայթէ որսողին. եւ ի բանիցն ի խռովութենէ: Ի թիկնամէջս իւր ընկալցի զքեզ. եւ ի հովանի թեւոց նորա յուսասցիս: Որպէս զէն շուրջ եղիցի զքեւ ճշմարտութիւն նորա: Ո՛չ երկիցես դու յերկիւղէ գիշերի եւ ո՛չ ի նետէ` որ թռչի ի տուէ: Յիրէ` որ շրջի ի խաւարի. ի գայթակղութենէ դիւին ի հասարակ աւուր: Անկցին ի կողմանէ քումմէ հազարք. եւ բիւրք ընդ աջմէ քումմէ. եւ առ քեզ ինչ ո՛չ մերձեսցին: Բայց միայն աչօք քովք հայեսցիս դու. եւ զհատուցումն մեղաւորաց տեսցես. զի դու. Տէ՛ր. յոյս իմ ես: Զբարձրեալն արարեր քեզ ապաւէն. զի ո՛չ հասցին առ քեզ չարք. եւ տանջանք մի՛ մերձեսցին ի յարկս քո: Հրեշտակաց իւրոց պատուիրեալ է վասն քո ի պահել զքեզ յամենայն ճանապարհս քո:
| 9:7 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Lord, give me strength and make me steadfast. May I stand upon the neck of my enemy and give me rest quickly. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD. Even the Most High, thy habitation. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:
| 9:8 Ի բազուկս իւրեանց ընկալցին զքեզ. զի մի՛ երբէք հարցես զքարի զոտն քո: Ի վերայ իժից եւ քարբից գնասցես դու. եւ առ ոտն կոխեսցես զառիւծն եւ զվիշապն: Քանզի յիս յուսացաւ եւ փրկեցից զնա. հովանի եղէց նմա` զի ծանեաւ զանուն իմ: Կարդասցէ առ իս եւ ես լուայց նմա. եւ առ նմա եղէց ի նեղութեան: Փրկեցից եւ փառաւոր արարից զնա. երկայն աւուրբք լցուցից. եւ ցուցից նմա զփրկութիւն իմ: Առ քեզ. Տէ՛ր. համբարձի զաչս իմ. որ բնակեալդ ես ի յերկինս: Որպէս աչք ծառայի ի ձեռն Տեառն իւրոյ. եւ որպէս աչք աղախնոյ ի ձեռն տիկնոջ իւրոյ: Այնպէս են աչք մեր առ քեզ Տէր Աստուած մեր. մինչեւ ողորմեսցիս ի վերայ մեր: Ողորմեա՛ց մեզ. Տէ՛ր. ողորմեա՛ց մեզ. զի բազում լցաք արհամարհանօք: Եւս առաւել լցան անձինք մեր նախատանօք` ոյք նախատէին զմեզ. եւ արհամարհանօք ամբարտաւանից: Աստուած. յանուան քում կեցո՛ զիս. եւ ի զօրութեան քում իրա՛ւ արա՛ ինձ: Աստուած. լո՛ւր աղօթից իմոց. ո՛ւնկն դիր բանից բերանոյ իմոյ: Օտարք յարեան ի վերայ իմ. եւ հզօրք խնդրեցին զանձն իմ. եւ ո՛չ համարեցան զքեզ Աստուած` առաջի իւրեանց:
| 9:8 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until he have mercy upon us. Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud. Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them:

Տէր. զի բարի է: Յամենայն նեղութենէ իմմէ փրկեցեր զիս. եւ ի թշնամիս իմ ետես ակն իմ: Օրհնեալ ես դու. | 9:9 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies. Blessed art thou, O Lord God of our fathers: and to be praised and exalted above all forever. And blessed is thy glorious and holy name: and to be praised and exalted above all forever. Blessed art thou in the temple of thine holy glory: and to be praised and glorified above all forever. Blessed art thou on the glorious throne of thy kingdom: and to be praised and glorified above all forever. Blessed art thou that beholdest the depths, and sittest upon the cherubims: and to be praised and exalted above all forever. Blessed art thou in the firmament of heaven: and above ail to be praised and glorified forever. Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. | 9:10 Օրհնեցէ՛ք զնա ի ձայն օրհնութեան. օրհնեցէ՛ք զնա սաղմոսիւք եւ օրհնութեամբ: Օրհնեցէ՛ք զնա ցնծութեամբ. գովեցէ՛ք զնա ուրախութեամբ: Օրհնեցէ՛ք զնա ի բանս քաղցր. գովեցէ՛ք զնա ի բարբառ լսելիս: Օրհնեցէ՛ք զնա ի ձայն գովութեան. ամենա՛յն հոգիք. օրհնեցէ՛ք զՏէր: Արդ` արձակեա՛ զծառայս քո. Տէ՛ր. ըստ բանի քում ի խաղաղութիւն. զի տեսին աչք իմ զփրկութիւն քո. զոր պատրաստեցեր առաջի ամենայն ժողովրդոց: Լոյս յայտնեցար հեթանոսաց եւ փառք ժողովրդեան քում Իսրայէլի: Ձգեցեր զձեռն քո. եւ փրկեաց զիս աջ քո եւ Տէր հատուսցէ ընդ իմ: Տէ՛ր. ողորմութիւն քո յաւիտեան. զգործս ձեռաց քոց մի՛ անտես առներ: Տէ՛ր. հա՛ն ի բանտէ զանձն իմ. գոհանամ զանուանէ քումմէ: Եւ քեզ սպասեն արդարքն մինչեւ հատուսցես: Մեծացուսցէ անձն իմ զՏէր եւ ցնծասցէ հոգի իմ Աստուծով փրկչաւ իմով:
| 9:10 Praise him with a voice of praise, all souls, praise the Lord. Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation. Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people. A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. Thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall see me, The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me. Lord, your mercy is eternal. Do not turn away from the creation of your hands. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name. The righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me. My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior:
| 9:11 Այց արար ի վերայ խոնարհութեան աղախնոյ իւրոյ. այսուհետեւ երանիցեն ինձ ամենայն ազգք: Արար ընդ իս մեծամեծս հզօրն. եւ սուրբ է անուն նորա: Ողորմութիւն արար յազգաց յազգս երկիւղածաց իւրոց. եւ արար զզօրութիւն բազկաւ իւրով: Ցրուեաց զամբարտաւանս ի մտաց սրտից. եւ քակեաց զհզօրս յաթոռոց: Զխոնարհս բարձրացոյց. զկարօտս ելից բարութեամբ եւ զմեծատունս արձակեաց ունայնս: Պաշտպանեաց Իսրայէլի ծառայի իւրոյ. յիշելով զողորմութիւն իւր: Որպէս խօսեցաւ առ հարսն մեր ընդ Աբրահամու եւ զաւակի նորա յաւիտեան: Տո՛ւր զօրութիւն ծառայի քո. կեցո՛ զորդի աղախնոյ քո. եւ արա՛ առ իս նշան բարութեան: Տեսցեն ատելիք իմ եւ ամաչեսցեն. զի դու. Տէ՛ր. օգնեցեր ինձ եւ մխիթարեցեր զիս: Փառք Հօր եւ Որդւոյ եւ Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ. Այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն:
| 9:11 For he hath regarded the lowliness of his handmaid; for behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation, He hath shewed strength with his arm. He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, He hath put down the mighty from their seats. And exalted them of low degree, He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy. As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed forever. Give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid, Shew me a token for good. Priest: My soul is always in your hands and I place my hope in your holy cross, O heavenly King. May the multitude of your saints intercede on my behalf. You who are patient with everyone, do not neglect me who trusts in you, but keep me in peace with your precious and holy cross:

Deacon: Let us beseech the almighty God and ask of him to send the angel of peace, that he may come and protect us in this fearful night from demonic distress, by keeping our souls and bodies sound until the end of our life. May the almighty Lord, our God, save us and have mercy upon us.

| 9:27 Christ, living Fire, inflame my soul with the fire of your love, which you sent forth upon the earth, that it may consume the impurities of my soul, cleanse my conscience, purge the sins of my body, and kindle in my heart the light of your knowledge. Have mercy upon your creatures, and upon me, great sinner that I am. Jesus, Wisdom of the Father, grant me wisdom, that I may, at all times, think, speak and do before you that which is good in your sight. And save me from evil thoughts, words and deeds. | 9:30 Christ, true Light, make my soul worthy to behold with joy the light of your glory the day when you will call on us, and to rest in the hope of good things in the abode of the just until the day of your glorious coming. Righteous Judge, when you come with the glory of the Father to judge the living and the dead, enter not into judgment with your servant, but deliver me from the eternal fire, and make me hear the blissful calling of the just to your heavenly kingdom.
