1:1 Նայեաց սիրով, Հայրդ գթած, ի քո ստեղծեալ գործս ձեռաց. եւ զբանակս հրեշտակաց. տուր պահապան մեզ տկարաց, փրկեա զանձինս ի փորձանաց ի խաւարի շրջող դիւաց. զի ի տուընջեան եւ գիշերի տացուք քեզ փառս անլռելի: Րամեալքս զքեզ, Տէր, աղաչեմք մեզ յօգնութիւն նայեա, հայցեմք. պահապանդ Իսրայելի անձանց մերոց լեր հովանի. օթեա առ մեզ խաղաղարար, զի ննջեսցուք անխռովաբար:
| 1:1 Look with love, Father of compassion, upon the work of your hands and give us the goblet of the angels as guardian for us in our weakness. Save our souls from the temptation of the demons swarming in the darkness so that day and night we might give you unceasing praise. We, who have gathered around you, Lord, pray that you will attend to us with help. We pray that you, keeper of Israel will be our protector, dwell among us making peace that we may sleep in tranquility:
| 1:2 եւ ընդ առաւօտս կանխեսցուք օրհնել զքեզ ընդ Հօր Հոգւով: Հալածեա ի մէնջ Տէր նշանաւ խաչի քո զընդդիմամարտ եւ զաներեւոյթ գազանն. եւ մի տար յապականութիւն զքո ժառանգութիւն: Բարեխօսեա վասն մեր, Աստուածածին Մարիամ. որ ծնար զՏէր Աստուած որ հովուԷրն զԻսրայէլ. ամենազօր եւ սքանչելի փառօքն Իւրովք:
| 1:2 And in the morning we shall hasten to bless you with the Father and Holy Spirit, Banish from us, Lord, with your cross the hostile and invisible beast, and do not let your inheritance be corrupted. Intercede for us, Mother of God, who bore the Lord God who is shepherd over Israel with his almighty and amazing glory:
