1:1 Զօրութիւն սուրբ խաչի քո Քրիստոս. որ կանգնեցեր ի փրկութիւն աշխարհի. սա պահեսցէ զմեզ յամենայն փորձութենէ:

1:1 The power of your holy cross, Christ, which you erected for the salvation of the world. May it protect us from temptation:

1:2 Քանզի ի սմա բարձրացար Աստուած. եւ ի սմա հեղեր զպատուական սուրբ զարիւնդ. սա պահեսցէ զմեզ յամենայն փորձութենէ: Եւ զքո միւսանգամ զգալուստդ նշանաւ խաչի քո ցուցեր աշխարհի. սա պահեսցէ զմեզ յամենայն փորձութենէ:

1:2 For on it you ascended as God and on it you spilt your holy venerable blood. May it protect us from temptation. And by the sign of the cross you showed the world your next coming. May it protect us from temptation:
