1:1 Խաչն կենարար որ եղեւ մեզ փրկութիւն, սովաւ ամենեքեան զքեզ բարեբանեմք: Որ ի Հօրէ լուսոյ լոյս ճառագայթեալ ի յերկրի եւ գաւազան զօրութեան հաւատացելոց, սովաւ ամենեքեան զքեզ բարեբանեմք: Որ լուսափայլ ծագմամբ հրաշափառապէս մեզ ցուցաւ ի յօգնութիւն ընդդէմ թշնամւոյն, սովաւ ամենեքեան զքեզ բարեբանեմք:

1:1 The life- giving cross which was salvation for us, by which we all praise you. You from the Father of light were light radiated on the earth and the staff of strength for believers, by which all praise you. Who by your shining origin miraculously and gloriously render us help against the enemy, by which we all praise you:

1:2 Փառք Հօր եւ Որդւոյ եւ Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ. այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից ամէն: Որ յատենի կացեր անպարտդ կողին պատրանօք եւ արբուցեր մեզ ի կողահոս աղբերէդ, նորոգեա եւ զիս զապականեալս մեղօք:

1:2 Glory to the Father and Son and Holy Spirit, now and always and unto the ages of ages amen. Who at the tribunal stood uncondemned by the deception around you and quenched us from the spring flowing from your side, renew also me who am corrupted by sin:
