1:1 Այսօր զուարճացեալ ցնծայ եկեղեցի. դրախտ աստուածատունկ ծաղկեալ. յորմէ տուաւ մեզ տունկն անմահութեան տէր Գրիգորիոս. եւ պտղովն իւրով ելից զտիեզերս ամենայն: Բարունակ ողկուզաբեր ճշմարիտ որթոյն. մշակեալ հայրական աստուածային աջոյն. յորմէ բղխեաց բաժակն ուրախարար տրտմեցելոյ ազինս. որով արբեալ զմայլեցաք յուրախութիւն հոգեւոր:

The paradise planted by God has come into bloom, from which was given to us the tree of immortality, Lord Gregory, and by his fruit he has filled the entire universe. A branch of the true grape- bearing vine cultivated by the fatherly right hand of God, from which sprang forth the gladdening cup for our mournful souls, drinking from which we are transported in spiritual joy:
