1:2 Որ յանարուեստ աթոռ նստիս բարեբանեալդ ի հրեշտակաց. այսօր ի Սիմէոնի բառնալով ի գիրկս. որ ընծայեսցես զմեզ ի կեանսդ յաւիտենից: Որ արձակիչդ ես կապելոց պարգեւատու ամենեցուն. այսօր հայցմամբ ծերունւոյն արձակեա եւ զիս զբազմամեղս ի կապանաց մահու ի կեանսդ յաւիտենից:
| 1:2 You who sit upon the throne not made by human hands, praised by the angels, today Simeon lifted you up in his arms and you granted us eternal life. You who release those who are bound, gift- giver of all, today through the prayer of the old man, release me also from the bonds of death into eternal life:
