1:1 Ուրախացիր, սրբուհի, Գաբրիելի աւետեօքն. որ քարոզեացն զգալուստ արքային Տեառն ի յերկնից: Ողջոյն ընդ քեզ, Մարիամ, ի քեզ Սուրբ Հոգին եկեսցէ. եւ զօրութիւն Բարձրելոյն ի վերայ քո հովանասցի:
| 1:1 Rejoice, pure maid, at Gabriel’s good news, who announced the coming of the Lord King from heaven. Hail to you Mary, the Holy Spirit shall enter you, and the power of the one on High shall protect you:
| 1:2 Որ ծնանելոցն է ի քէն Իսրայելի առաջնորդ. եւ ընդհանուր քարոզի Աստուած հզօր անմահ Բանն: Ուրախ լեր բերկրեալ ամենասուրբ կոյս. որ ծնար աշխարհի զարդարութեան արեգակն. որ լուսաւորեաց զազգս որդւոց մարդկան:
| 1:2 He who is to be born of you shall be the leader of Israel. And the mighty, immortal word, God, shall be preached everywhere. Be happen blessed, most holy Virgin. You give birth to the sun of justice in the world, who shall bring light to the nations of the sons of man:
