9:1 Ապա քահանան ափ մի Հող առնու ի ձեռն՝ խաչակնքէ:
| 9:1 Upon reaching the graveside the priest takes a handful of earth, makes the sign of the cross over it:

9:2 Սարկաւագ. Եւ եւս խաղաղութեան զՏէր աղաչեսցուք. ընկալ կեցո եւ ողորմեա:
| 9:2 Deacon: And again for peace let us beseech the Lord. Accept, save and have mercy upon us:

9:3 Քահանայ. Օրհնութիւն եւ փառք Հօր եւ Որդւոյ եւ Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն։ Օրհնեա Տէր ողորմութեամբ քով զհողս ծառայիս քոյ այսորիկ, եւ յիշեա զսա, զի հող էր՝ եւ անդրէն ի հող դարձաւ ըստ հրամանի քում։ Երիցս կրկնէ:
| 9:3 Priest: Blessing and glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always. For ever and ever. Amen. Bless, O Lord, with your mercy the dust of this your Servant name and remember him or her, for he or she was dust and again will become dust, according to your command, repeat thrice:

9:4 Ապա ձգէ զհողն ի գերեզմանն եւ ասէ. Օրհնութիւնն աստուածային իջցէ ի հող մահու սորին, եւ բուսուսցէ յօրն վերջին, անուամբ Հօր եւ Որդւոյ եւ Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. Ամէն:
| 9:4 The priest throws the earth into the grave and says three times: May the divine blessing descend upon the dust of his or her death, and may it sprout on the last day, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, now and always and for ever and ever. Amen:
