8:1 Քահանայ. ԱՂՕԹՔ. Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Աստուած հոգւոց եւ ստեղծիչ մարմնոց, Տէր ես կենդանեաց եւ յարութիւն մեռելոց. տուիչ ես բարեաց եւ մխիթարիչ ամենայն վշտացելոց, եւ հանգուցիչ՝ հաւատով ի քեզ ննջեցելոց։ Դու խոստացար ի ձեռն գալստեան միածնի քո յաշխարհս՝ անճառելի խոստմամբ՝ յարուցանել զմեռեալս, եւ ասել ամենակարող եւ հզօր բանիւ քով, «Եկա՛յք առ իս ամենայն աշխատեալք եւ ծանրաբեռինք եւ ես հանգուցից զձեզ:
| 8:1 Priest: PRAYER. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy. God of souls and Creator of bodies, Lord of the living and Resurrection of the dead, bestowed of goodness and comforter of all in grief, and giver of rest to those who have fallen asleep in faith in you, you promised through the coming of your Only- Begotten Son into this world, with an ineffable promise to raise the dead and to say with your almighty and powerful word, Come to me, all you who are weary and heavily laden, and I will give you rest:
| 8:2 Հանգո, Տէր Աստուած մեր, զհոգի ծառայիս քո ըստ բանիդ այդորիկ. եւ գրեա զսա ի գիր հանգստեան փառաւոր արքայութեան քո. եւ պարգեւեա սմա մասն եւ բաժին ի խորանսդ յաւիտենականսն։ Եւ եթէ մարդկօրէն մեղուցեալ ինչ իցէ սորա ի յանցանս աշխարհիս այսորիկ, անվախճան քո բանիւդ թողութիւն շնորհեա սմա. եւ յամենայն մեղաց եւ ի սնոտի խաբէութեանց զհոգի սորա ազատեա. եւ զամենայն ժողովուրդս քո օրհնեա։ Զի ի բերանոյ ամենայն արարածոց քոց փառաւորի ամենասուրբ տէրութիւն քո, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. Ամէն:
| 8:2 Therefore, rest, our Lord God, the soul of this your servant ( name) according to your words and register him or her into the book of repose in your glorious kingdom and grant him or her a share and a part in your eternal tabernacle. And if he or she has sinned in this world because of his or her human nature, grant him or her forgiveness by your eternal word, and liberate his or her soul from all sins and vain deceits, and bless all your people, so that from the mouths of all your creatures your most holy dominion is glorified, now and always, and for ever and ever. Amen:
