2:1 ՇԱՐԱԿԱՆ ԴԿ. Բանդ Աստուած որ ի ծոց Հօր, վասն մերոյ փրկութեան ի յերկնից խոնարհեցար, զի զմեզ նորոգեսցես ի կեանս. Աստուած հարցն մերոց:
| 2:1 HYMN. The Word God, who is in the Father’s bosom, you humbled yourself from the Heavens for our salvation, to renew our lives, O God of our Fathers:

2:2 Որ հանդերձեալ ես գալ փառօք Հօր զարթուցանել զննջեցեալսն ի սուրբ անունդ քո. նորոգեա եւ զմեր ննջեցեալսն Աստուած Հարցն մերոց:
| 2:2 You, who will come with the glory of the Father, to awaken the deceased in your Holy name, also renew our departed ones, O God of our Fathers:

2:3 Անմահութեանց տուող Քրիստոս եւ պարգեւիչ կենդանութեան, ի միւսանգամ գալստեանն եւ յաշխարհական ատենին թողութիւն շնորհեա մեր ննջեցելոցն. Աստուած Հարցն մերոց:
| 2:3 O Christ, grantor of immortality and life, at your second coming and the judgment of the world, grant forgiveness to our departed, O God of our Fathers:

2:4 Ով պահապան որ ծագեցար յԵդեմայ, նշան յաղթութեան ընդդէմ աներեւոյթ թշնամւոյն:
| 2:4 O Guardian, who rose in the Garden of Eden, as a sign of mercy against the invisible enemy:

2:5 Դու փակելոյ դրախտին բացող եւ առաջնորդ աւազակին. որ զբոցեղէն սուրն կապտեաց անեղին հրամանաւ։ Քեւ ցնծան ստորայինքս ամենայն ի միւսանգամ քո գալստեան. եւ յաւէժ զուարճանան դասք անմարմնոցն առ էիցս:
| 2:5 You unraveled of the closed gates of Heaven, and guide to the thief, who subdued the blazing sword by the permission of the uncreated one. We earthlings rejoice in you at your second coming and the heavenly hosts eternally join in our exaltation:
