4:1 Քահանայ. Աղօթք. Պահպանիչ եւ յոյս հաւատացելոց Քրիստոս Աստուած մեր, պահեա՛, պահպանեա՛ զհաւատացեալ ժողովուրդս ընդ հովանեաւ սուրբ եւ պատուական Խաչիւդ քո, ի խաղաղութեան: Փրկեա՛ ազատեա՛ զսոսա յերեւելի եւ յաներեւոյթ թշնամւոյն: Արժանաւորեա՛ գոհութեամբ փառաւորել զքեզ ընդ Հօր եւ ընդ Սրբոյ Հոգւոյն. այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն:
| 4:1 Priest: The prayer of the Cross. O Christ our God, Guardian and Hope of the faithful, protect and keep in peace: Your faithful people under the protection of Your Holy and venerable Cross. Save them O Lord, from visible and invisible enemies and make them worthy to glorify You with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and always, for ever and ever. Amen:

4:2 Օրհնեալ Տէր մեր Յիսուս Քրիստոս. ամէն: Հայր մեր որ յերկինս ես, սուրբ եղիցի անուն քո։ Եկեսցէ արքայութիւն քո. եղիցին կամք քո որպէս յերկինս եւ յերկրի: Զհաց մեր հանապազորդ տուր մեզ այսօր։ Եւ թող մեզ զպարտիս մեր, որպէս եւ մեք թողումք մերոց պարտապանաց։ Եւ մի՛ տանիր զմեզ ի փորձութիւն. այլ փրկեա՛ զմեզ ի չարէ։ Զի քո է արքայութիւն եւ զօրութիւն եւ փառք յաւիտեանս. ամէն:
| 4:2 Blessed be our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen:

4:3 Եւ ապա երթան ի դուռն Եկեղեցւոյն. եւ Հարսն եւ Փեսայն երեք ծունր կրկնին. եւ Քահանայն խոստովանեցուցանէ զնոսա. եւ ապա ոլորի զնարօտն:
| 4:3 And then they go to the entrance of the Church, and the Bride and Groom kneel three times, and the Priest takes their confession and then they tie the narod:

4:4 Երբ զՓեսայն զնարօտն ոլորէ` ասէ. Տէր ի զօրութեան քում ուրախ եղիցի թագաւորն, ի փրկութեան քում ցնծասցէ յոյժ:
| 4:4 When the Groom ties the narod, he says: Lord the king rejoices in your strength, he is jubilant in your salvation:

4:5 Եւ երբ զՀարսին զնարօտն ոլորէ` ասէ. Տարցին թագաւորի կուսանք զհետ նորա. եւ զընկերս նորա տարցին նա:
| 4:5 And when the Bride ties the narod, she says: She shall be brought before the king and her entourage shall accompany her:

4:6 Եւ ապա տայ զձեռն ի ձեռն` եւ ասէ. Առեալ զձեռն Եւայի` տուեալ ի յաջն Ադամայ, եւ ասէ Ադամ. Այս այժմ ոսկր յոսկերաց իմոց, եւ մարմին ի մարմնոյ իմոյ. Սա կոչեսցի կին, զի յառնէ իւրմէ առաւ:
| 4:6 Then the priest puts them hand in hand, and says: God took the hand of Eve and placed it in the right hand of Adam and Adam said, “ This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of her man:

4:7 Սարկաւագ. Եւ եւս խաղաղութեան զՏէր աղաչեսցուք. ընկալ, կեցո եւ ողորմեա:
| 4:7 Deacon: Again in peace let us beseech the Lord. Receive our prayers, save us, and have mercy upon us:

4:8 Քահանայ. Օրհնութիւն եւ փառք Հօր եւ Որդւոյ եւ Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն:
| 4:8 Priest: Blessing and glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and for ever and ever. Amen:
