16:1 Քահանայ. ԱՂՕԹՔ. Տէր Աստուած մեր՝ որ յամենայն ժամ ընդ մեզ ես, եւ ոչ երբեք թողուս ի ձեռանէ քումմէ զայնոսիկ, որք ճշմարտութեամբ խոստովանին զանուն քո սուրբ։ Զքեզ աղաչեմք, եւ առ քեզ կարդամք, եւ ի քէն խնդրեմք, մարդասէր Տէր, քոյին հրամանաւդ օրհնեցաք զպսակս զայս ամուսնութեան սոցա ի խորանի քում սրբութեան, առաջի սրբոյ սեղանոյ քո. եւ արդ, Տէր բարերար, քոյին հրամանաւդ առնումք զնարօտ պսակիս ի գլխոց սոցա եւ օրհնեմք զսոսա նշանաւ սուրբ Խաչին։ Նայեա Տէր, քաղցրութեամբ քով ի սոսա. եւ առաքեա զհրեշտակ խաղաղութեան քո, որ եկեալ պահեսցէ զսոսա սուրբս եւ անարատս, միաշունչս եւ միախորհուրդս։ Շնորհեա սոցա, Տէր, եւ զաւակս ըստ կամաց քոց. քաղցրացո զվայելչութիւն կենաց սոցա քոյով առատ բարերարութեամբդ. զի կեցցեն անբիծ եւ անարատ վարուք յայսմ աշխարհիս՝ մինչեւ ի խորին ծերութիւն, եւ արժանաւորք եղիցին երկնից արքայութեանդ, եւ անթառամ պսակացն՝ Եւ քեզ ամենազօրիդ Աստուծոյ վայելէ փառք իշխանութիւն եւ պատիւ, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն։ Եւ ապա բաժակ մի գինի առնու Քահանայն ի ձեռն իւր` եւ ասէ զաղօթս:
| 16:1 Priest: PRAYER. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy. Lord, our God, You are with us every hour and never have abandoned those who profess Your holy name in truth. We beseech You and call upon You and request from You, ever loving Lord, that with Your command we have blessed the crowning of this marriage at Your holy altar and before Your holy table; And now, beneficent Lord, according to Your command, we take off from their heads the braids of the crowning of the marriage and bless them with the sign of Holy cross ( make sign of cross). Amen. Look upon them, Lord, with sweetness, and send your angel of peace that he may come and keep them holy and pure and in oneness of spirit and thought. Grant them, Lord, offspring, according to Your will. Make sweet the virtuousness of their lives with Your bountiful beneficence, that they may live in this world to an extreme old age with unblemished and unstained conduct and may be worthy of Your heavenly kingdom and unfading crowns. Unto you, Almighty God, is befitting glory, dominion and honor, now and always and for ever and ever. Amen. Then, the priest shall take a cup of wine into his hand:
