1:1 Քահանայ. ՏԷՐՈՒՆԱԿԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ. Օրհնեալ Տէր մեր Յիսուս Քրիստոս, ամեն։ Հայր մեր որ յերկինս ես, սուրբ եղիցի անուն քո։ Եկեսցէ արքայութիւն քո. եղիցին կամք քո որպէս յերկինս եւ յերկրի: Զհաց մեր հանապազորդ տուր մեզ այսօր։ Եւ թող մեզ զպարտիս մեր, որպէս եւ մեք թողումք մերոց պարտապանաց։ Եւ մի՛ տանիր զմեզ ի փորձութիւն. այլ փրկեա՛ զմեզ ի չարէ։ Զի քո է արքայութիւն եւ զօրութիւն եւ փառք յաւիտեանս. ամէն:
| 1:1 Priest: THE LORD’S PRAYER. Blessed be our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen:
| 1:2 Եւ ապա երթան ի տուն հարսին, եւ բերին զհարսն առ փեսայն, եւ առնու Քահանայն զաջ ձեռն հարսին եւ տայ յաջ ձեռն փեսային, եւ ասէ:
| 1:2 The priest shall join the heads of the Bridegroom and Bride and gives a cross to the Best Man, who will hold it upon their heads:
| 1:3 Քահանայ. Առեալ զձեռն Եւայի՝ տուեալ ի յաջն Ադամայ, եւ ասէ Ադամ. այս այժմ ոսկր յոսկերաց իմոց, եւ մարմին ի մարմնոյ իմմէ. սա կոչեսցի կին, զի յառնէ իւրմէ առաւ: Վասն այսորիկ թողցէ այր զհայր իւր եւ զմայր իւր, եւ երթիցէ զհետ կնոջ իւրոյ. եւ եղիցին երկոքեան ի մարմին մի։ Արդ, զոր Աստուած զուգեաց՝ մարդ մի՛ մեկնեսցէ:
| 1:3 Priest: God took the hand of Eve and placed it in the right hand of Adam and Adam said, “ This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of her man.” For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and go with his wife and the two shall become one flesh. Therefore, those whom God has joined together, let no man put asunder:
