3:1 Եւ ապա զգեցուցանէ հանդերձ սպիտակ եւ նոր, եւ կապէ զնարօտն եւ տայ զերկուս վառեալ մոմեղէնս ի ձեռն եւ ասեն:
| 3:1 Then the godparents shall dress the child with new white clothes and the priest shall tie the Narode around the neck of the child and shall give two lighted candles to the godfather and sing:

3:2 ՇԱՐԱԿԱՆ ԲՁ. Աստուած խօսեցաւ ի բարձանց, լուարուք Բնակիչք երկրի, որ եկն եւ փրկեաց զամենայն արարածս, զի զանուն Տեառն կարդասցուք, եւ տուք օրհնութիւն ի բարձունս:
| 3:2 THE HYMN OF RESURRECTION. God spoke from on high, hear, O inhabitants of the earth, He came and saved all the creatures so that we may call upon the name of the Lord and praise Him in the highest:

3:3 Նոր Իսրայէլ կոչեցաք ի Քրիստոս եղաք բաժին Տեառն եւ Ժառանգակից Քրիստոսի, զի զանուն Տեառն կարդասցուք եւ տուք օրհնութիւն ի բարձունս:
| 3:3 By joining Christ we became the New Israel, the portion of God and coheirs with Christ, so that we may call upon the name of the Lord and praise Him in the highest:

3:4 Ի վիմէն կենդանութեան ճաշակեցաք զի քաղցր է Տէր, եւ յիւղ սրբութեան օծաք հաւատով, զի զանուն Տեառն կարդասցուք, եւ տուք օրհնութիւն ի բարձունս:
| 3:4 We have tasted from the table of life for the Lord is sweet; and we have been anointed with holy oil in faith, so that we may call upon the name of the Lord and praise the Lord in the highest:

3:5 Ի քեզ եմք ապաւինեալ որ մայրդ ես եւ աղախին Քրիստոսի. լեր բարեխօս վասն մեր. զի զանուն Տեառն կարդասցուք եւ զքեզ մեծարեալ պատուեսցուք:
| 3:5 We have put our trust in you, O Mother and maiden of Christ, intercede for us so that we may call upon the name of the Lord and venerate and honor you:
