1:1 Քահանայ. ԱՂՕԹՔ. Որ լուսաւորեցեր զարարածս քո, Քրիստոս Աստուած, ծագելով զլոյս աստուածգիտութեան յանձինս մեր, եւ այժմ ազատեցեր զծառայս քո զայս, սրբեցեր եւ արդարացուցեր, եւ ետուր սմա զորդեգրութեան պատիւն:
| 1:1 Priest: PRAYER. Christ Our Lord, You have illuminated your creatures by shining the light of the knowledge of God upon us, and now you have redeemed this servant of yours, by making him or her clean and just and gave him or her the honor of adoption:
| 1:2 Տէր Աստուած ամենակալ, Հայր Տեառն մերոյ Յիսուսի Քրիստոսի, որ շնորհեցեր զգիտութիւն ճշմարտութեան քոյ ամենայն հաւատացելոց, եւ ետուր իշխանութիւն լինել որդիս Աստուծոյ՝ ի ձեռն վերստին ծննդեան ջրոյ եւ Հոգւոյ։ Որ եւ զծառայս քո (զայս անուն) նորոգեցեր քաւութեամբ սուրբ Աւազանի քոյ, սո՛ւրբ արա զսա, Տէր, ճշմարտութեամբ քով, եւ լուսով շնորհաց Սուրբ Հոգւոյդ. զի եղիցի տաճար եւ բնակարան աստուածութեանդ քոյ, եւ կարասցէ գնալ յամենայն ճանապարհս արդարութեան, եւ կալ համարձակութեամբ առաջի ահաւոր բեմի միածնի քոյ՝ Տեառն մերոյ Յիսուսի Քրիստոսի:
