9:1 Սարկաւագն. ՔԱՐՈԶ. Եւ եւս խաղաղութեան զՏէր աղաչեսցուք։ Վասն երախայիս աղաչեսցուք զմարդասէրն Աստուած, զի ողորմեսցի ըստ մեծի ողորմութեան իւրում, եւ արժանաւորեսցէ զսա լուացման վերստին ծննդեան, եւ զգեստու անապականութեան։ Եւ զուգաթուեսցէ զսա ընդ հաւատացեալս անուան իւրոյ. եւ կեցուսցէ շնորհիւ ողորմութեան իւրոյ։ Ամենակալ Տէր Աստուած մեր, կեցուսցէ եւ ողորմեսցի:
| 9:1 Deacon: BIDDING. Again in peace let us beseech the Lord. Let us beseech the compassionate God, to have mercy upon this child according to his great mercy and make him or her worthy of the washing of the second birth and of the garment of purity. Let us beseech our Lord, to rank him or her among the faithful who believe in His name, and save him or her by the grace of His mercy. Almighty Lord, our God, save us and have mercy:
