13:1 Քահանայ. ԱՂՕԹՔ. Տէր Աստուած մեր, աղաչեմք զքեզ, առաքեա՛ զՀոգիդ քո Սուրբ ի ջուրս յայս, եւ սրբեա՛ զսա, որպէս սրբեցեր զՅորդանան՝ իջանելով քո ի նմա, ամենասուրբդ ի մեղաց Տէր մեր Յիսուս Քրիստոս, յօրինակ այսր Աւազանի Մկրտութեան վերստին ծննդեան ամենայն մարդկան։ Եւ շնորհեա՛ սմա զջուրս զայս յորում մկրտի այժմ, ի թողութիւն մեղաց եւ յընդունելութիւն Հոգւոյդ Սրբոյ, յորդեգրութիւն Հօրդ երկնաւորի եւ ի ժառանգութիւն արքայութեանդ երկնից։ Որպէսզի սրբեալ ի մեղաց, ի հաճոյս կամաց քոց կեցցէ յայսմ աշխարհիս, եւ ի հանդերձելումն զանսպառ բարիսն ընկալցի ընդ ամենայն սուրբս քո. եւ ուրախութեամբ գոհասցի եւ միշտ փառաւորեսցէ զքեզ ընդ Հօր եւ Սուրբ Հոգւոյդ, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն:
| 13:1 Priest: PRAYER. Lord, our God, Jesus Christ, you who are the holiest and exempt from every sin, we beseech you, send your Holy Spirit to these Waters and cleanse them, as you have done to the waters of the Jordan River by your immersion in it, setting that as an example to this Baptismal Font of rebirth of all mankind. Grant through this water, where he or she is being baptized now, the forgiveness of sins and the acceptance of the Holy Spirit, so that he or she may be adopted by your heavenly Father and inherit the Kingdom of Heavens. Thus, being cleaned from all sins, he might live according to your will in this world, and in the afterlife enjoy your inexhaustible blessings with all your saints, joyfully giving thanks and always praising you, with the Father, and the Holy Spirit now and always, and for ever and ever. Amen:
| 13:2 Եւ ապա Կնքահայրն տանի ի մերկացուցանել զերախայն, եւ բերէ մերկ մերկ առ ընթեր՝ Քահանային, եւ առեալ Քահանայն զսուրբ Միւռոնն ի ձեռն եւ Խաչակնքէ ի վերայ ջրոյն ասելով:

Օրհնեսցի եւ սրբեսցի ջուրս այս՝ նշանաւ սուրբ Խաչիւս եւ սուրբ Աւետարանաւս, եւ սրբալոյս Միւռոնաւս եւ աւուրս շնորհիւ. անուամբ Հօր եւ Որդւոյ եւ Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ. այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից։ Երիցս կրկնէ, եւ ապա ասէ: Օրհնութիւն եւ փառք Հօր եւ Որդւոյ եւ Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն:
| 13:4 Priest: May this water be blessed and sanctified by the sign of the holy Cross and by the holy Gospel and by the holy Muron and by the grace of this day, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, now and always and for ever and ever. Amen. Repeat thrice and then say, Blessing and glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and for ever and ever. Amen:
