Priest: Blessed be our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Choir: Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man. Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man. Who have purposed to overthrow my goings. The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords. They have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD. O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. Abandon me not, O Lord, to the desires of the ungodly, who plotted against me; do not cast me down. Priest: Blessed art thou, O Lord, who dwellest on high and praised is the glory of thy majesty. Thou hast established the luminaries on high and hast made light shine forth from heaven over the whole world. Thou hast made the sun to give light to daytime and the moon and the stars to give light to night time, as well as the light of the lamp. Thou art the laudable light, the holy and the primal light. Darkness doth flee from thee. Therefore, O Lord, make thy living light shine forth in our hearts. Deacon: And again in peace let us beseech the Lord. Let us beseech the almighty God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Peace for peace also for the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church; that the Lord our God may be pleased to grant us many years in peace and send unto us, for the sake of his great, holy and fearful name, rulers that are peacemakers; that he may be pleased to keep in peace the heads of states and provinces, the captains of armed forces and all the people and our comings in and goings out, and that he may break all the battles of the enemy and turn him away from us.

Priest: Hear our voice, O Lord our God, receive our supplications, the lifting up of our hands and the words of our prayers. Sanctify this our offering of the evening, that we may prepare it for thy pleasure with a sweet smell of fragrance. Increase in us, O Lord almighty, faith, hope and charity and all deeds of virtue, so that we may always devoutly obey thine ordinances by day and by night according to thy beneficent will, and that we may be worthy to beseech thee for the salvation of our souls and for our spiritual life, O Lord, and to find grace and mercy from thee and giving thanks to glorify the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and unto the ages of ages.
