Choir: Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight. That thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Դպիրքն աւագ. "Յայս միջօրեայ տունջեան ժամուս` Վայելչական աչաց մարմնոյս. Նետիւք գաղտնեաց մի՛ խոցիցուք. Ի խաւարէն որ ի ծածուկ. Շուրջանակի բանակեսցին Զմեօք բանակք հրեշտակաց. Որք պարակից մեզ լինելով. Զքեզ ընդ Հօր փառատրելով:

Choir: The light of the sun grew dark at the sixth hour of Friday. The light of the Creator made itself known. The light was humiliated, having been hung on the cross naked. With a veil of shadows it was covered. Defend us from the heavy strokes of the demons that wander by day.
Choir: Keep us from growing tired in the battle with the evil demon, who at this hour wages war on us strangling our souls. By the sign of your cross, the truth of your radiance, with a lightning bolt from heaven, drive them away from us and set us aflame with your light.
Choir: At the midday hour, let not the hidden arrows pierce the splendid eyes of my body. May the heavenly host dwell around us when night falls, and surround us, giving glory to You with the Father:

Արթուն մտօք եւ անզբօս խորհրդով կացցուք միաբան յաղօթս առաջի Տեառն մերոյ եւ Փրկչին Յիսուսի Քրիստոսի: Հաւատով խնդրեսցուք ի նմանէ զհրեշտակ խաղաղութեան պահապան անձանց մերոց. որ եկեալ բանակեսցէ շուրջ զմեօք եւ աներկիւղ պահեսցէ զմեզ յամենայն հրեղէն նետից սատանայի. որ թռչի ի տուէ. յիրաց խաւարային գնացից` ի գայթակղութենէ դիւին ի հասարակ աւուր: Յորմէ զգուշութեամբ պահելով աղօթիւք եւ բարեխօսութեամբ ամենայն սրբոց. շնորհեսցէ մեզ մարդասէրն Աստուած կեալ առաքինութեամբ` ի փրկութիւն անձանց մերոց. ի պատիւ եւ ի փառս կենդանացուցիչ անուան իւրոյ: Յոյս հաղորդութեան ընկալցուք` ի յայտնութեան միածնի Որդւոյն Աստուծոյ. կերպարանակից առնել զմարմին խոնարհութեան մերոյ. ըստ նմանութեան մարմնոյ փառաց իւրոց: Վասն զի զայս խոստացաւ սիրելեաց իւրոց ճշմարիտն Աստուած` Յիսուս Քրիստոս. | 5:7 EXHORTATION
Deacon: With minds awake and thoughts focused we pray together to you our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With faith we ask for the protection of our guardian angel, who came and dwells among us and keeps us free of fear in the face of all the fiery arrows of Satan, which fly by day and from the things that move at night, and the temptations of the demons throughout the day. Protect us from them through vigilant prayer and the intercession of all the saints. Grant us God, who loves mankind, that we may live in virtue, for the salvation of our souls, for the honor and glory of his name. May we receive the hope of communion, from the revelation of the only- begotten Son- God, who to become like us took on our humble body, according to the likeness of the body of his glory. For this is what Jesus Christ, promised those who love him, true God, Our Lord. Save us and have mercy.

Deacon: That we may pass this morning of light and the whole day in peace, let us ask of the Lord in faith.

Priest: Clothe us, Lord our God, with the armor of righteousness, that we may be strong and victorious in the battle with Satan. And extinguishing all of his fiery arrows, make us steadfast against dark things of the night and keeps us from the demons’ temptations in the day. Deacon: For the infirm and grieving, we pray to our Savior Christ, to have mercy upon them, in his great mercy, and to cure the diseases and infirmities of the bodies and souls of his servants and to deliver them all in perfect health to eternal and unblemished life. He who was sent by the Father to cure the race of man, the only- begotten Son of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Save us and have mercy:

Priest: Lift away the pains and infirmities of your people, Lord our God, and grand all perfect health by the sign of your all- victorious cross, by which you took away the weaknesses of the race of man and condemned the enemies of our life and salvation. You are our life and salvation, beneficent and compassionate God, who alone are able to forgive our sins and banish our illness, for you know our needs. Grantor of goodness, bestow your mercy upon your creatures abundantly, each according to his needs, for which your All- Holy Trinity is praised in perpetual glory, now and always and unto the ages of ages. Choir: Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, he is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. even The Most High, thy habitation. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him with long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. Now and always, for ever and ever. Amen:

Սարկաւագն. Եւ եւս խաղաղութեան զՏէր աղաչեսցուք. Խնդրեսցուք հաւատով ի Հօրէ վասն քաւութեան մեղաց եւ թողութեան յանցանաց. փրկելոյ զմեզ ի վշտաց եւ ի նեղութեանց. իջանելոյ ի վերայ մեր ողորմութեան եւ գթութեան Տեառն Աստուծոյ ամենակալին. կեցո՛ եւ ողորմեա՛:

Deacon: Again in peace let us beseech the Lord. Let us ask the Father in faith for the remission of our sins and forgiveness of our transgressions, for saving us from our grief and afflictions, for bestowing on us the mercy and compassion of our Lord God almighty. Save us and have mercy:

Հայր գթութեանց եւ Աստուած ամենայն մխիթարութեանց. որ մխիթարես զմեզ յամենայն նեղութեան մերում. լո՛ւր եւ այժմ ձայնի պաղատանաց ծառայից քոց. ընդունելով զաղաչանս մեր: Անցո՛ ի մէնջ զցասումն պատուհասի յանցանաց մերոց բարերարութեամբ քով: Ներեա՛ եւ լո՛ւր մեզ. քաւեա՛ եւ թո՛ղ զմեղս մեր. արժանաւորեա գոհութեամբ փառաւորել զքեզ ընդ Որդւոյ եւ ընդ Սրբոյ Հոգւոյդ. այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն:

Priest: Father of compassion who comforts all. Comfort us in our affliction. Hear now the voices of your servant’s prayers. Receive our prayers. Make your anger at our transgressions pass through your beneficence. Forgive us and hear us, pardon and forgive our sins. Make us worthy to glorify you with the Son and your Holy Spirit, now and always and unto the ages of ages. Amen:
