Աստուա՛ծ. ըստ մեծի ողորմութեան քում. ըստ բազում գթութեան քում քաւեա՛ զանօրէնութիւնս իմ: Առաւել լուա՛ զիս յանօրէնութենէ իմմէ եւ ի մեղաց իմոց սուրբ արա՛ զիս: Զանօրէնութիւնս իմ ես ինձէն գիտեմ. եւ մեղք իմ առաջի իմ են յամենայն ժամ: Քեզ միայն մեղայ. Choir: Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight. That thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Դպիրքն աւագ. "Թագաւո՛ր թագաւորաց. Առատաբուղխ Հոգի շնորհաց. Ժողովելոցն ի վերնատանն Առաքելոցն երկոտասան` Ի հրոյ լեզուս երեւեցար. Յոգիս նոցա վերանստար. Լո՛ւր յանուն քո ժողովելոցս. Էջ եւ առ մեզ յերրորդ ժամու:
| 4:4 HYMN
Senior Clerks: We praise you. Father without beginning, Being of beings from nothing, who lifted up with your hands the earth and created man in your image. Head who humble itself to the feet, that your commandment would not be forgotten. Again we say with the prodigal son, Father, I have sinned against you in heaven.
Junior Clerks: Beyond the understanding of the heavenly host, you became a visible for mankind, took on our earthly image, who are the unchanging image of the Father, went up on the cross in the third hour, for the sake of the first- created Adam, crucified along with criminals, make us worthy of paradise.
Senior Clerks: King of Kings. Holy Spirit, font of abundant grace, which poured out upon those gathered in the upper room, upon the twelve apostles, appeared in fiery tongues, lighted upon their souls, hear those gathered in your name, come down upon us on the third hour:

4:7 ՔԱՐՈԶ ՄԵԾԻ ՊԱՀՈՑ
Սարկաւագն. Միաբան ամենեքեան գոհացարուք զմարդասիրէն Աստուծոյ եւ զՓրկչէն մերմէ Յիսուսէ Քրիստոսէ. որ ազատեաց զազգս մարդկան ի դատապարտութենէ անիծիցն եւ եբարձ զմեղս աշխարհի ի ժամուս յայսմիկ խաչիւն իւրով. եւ շնորհեաց առատապէս զպարգեւս Հոգւոյն Սրբոյ երանելի առաքելոցն: Խնդրեսցուք հաւատով. զի զմեզ զամենեսեան արասցէ հաղորդս մեծամեծաց եւ աստուածային բարեացն այնոցիկ աղօթիւք եւ բարեխօսութեամբ ամենայն սրբոց. որք աստ եւ ընդ ամենայն տիեզերս: Որպէս զի անարատ վարուք եւ ճշմարիտ առաքինութեամբ կացեալք ըստ կամաց նորա յայսմ աշխարհիս. զմասն եւ զվիճակ ժառանգութեան ընկալցուք ընդ ամենայն սուրբս նորա զբնակութիւն յաւիտենական եւ երկնային խորանացն: Զոր խոստացաւ սիրելեաց իւրոց ճշմարիտն Աստուած` Յիսուս Քրիստոս.

| 4:7 Litany of Lent
Deacon: Give thanks in one accord to God and our Savior Jesus Christ, who loves mankind, who saved the race of man from the condemnation of curses and took away the sins of the world at this hour by his cross and granted the gifts of the Holy Spirit to your blessed apostles abundantly. Let us ask in faith that you will make us worthy to partake of these miracles and divine favors through the prayers and intercession of the saints, who are here and throughout the universe. That by pure conduct and true virtue we may be steadfast in your will in this world. May we receive our portion and lot of the inheritance of eternal dwelling and heavenly altars along with his saints, which the true God, Jesus Christ, promised those whom he loved.
Priest: Our Lord, save us and have mercy.
Deacon: Let us beseech the Lord to pass this hour and coming day in peace.

Priest: You who are seated among the Cherubim and in the hermitage and who always look after your creation, who at this hour poured out the grace of your Holy Spirit upon the blessed apostles, you, Lord, in the coming hour and forever, until the end of our lives, unite us with your outpouring of good works and make us worthy to partake of your promised blessings. Deacon: Let us ask in faith from God for our fathers and brothers who are travelling, who go by sea or by land, that he may guide them and keep them in peace and deliver them each to their place, Lord our God. For he himself is the guide of life and hope of salvation, who assures that his servants in peace reach the harbor of life and salvation. Almighty Lord our God, save us and have mercy:

Our parents, teachers, brothers, friends, those who feed us, pilgrims, travelers, those at rest, in retirement, our confessors, penitents, slaves, the infirm, afflicted, rulers, evil- doers, benefactors, enemies, the hateful. And those who instructed us in the faith:

O beneficent and abundantly merciful God, through thine unforgetting knowledge and infinite love of men be mindful of all that believe in thee and have mercy on all. Սարկաւագն. Եւ եւս խաղաղութեան զՏէր աղաչեսցո՛ւք: Գոհաբանելով աղաչեսցուք զբարերար Հոգին Աստուած. եւ խնդրեսցուք զողորմութիւն ի նմանէ. զի անցուսցէ ի մէնջ զցասումն պատուհասի յանցանաց մերոց բարերարութեամբն իւրով. ամենակալ Տէր Աստուած մեր կեցո՛ եւ ողորմեա՛:

Deacon: Again in peace let us beseech the Lord. Giving thanks we pray to the beneficent Holy Spirit, and ask for mercy, that he may make the anger of punishment for our sins pass through his beneficence. Almighty God, save us and have mercy:

Քահանայն. Խաղաղութեամբ քով. Հոգիդ Սուրբ Աստուած ճշմարիտ. որ ի վեր է քան զամենայն միտս եւ զխորհուրդս. մխիթարեա՛ զանձինս ծառայից քոց. ընդունելով զաղաչանս մեր: Անցո՛ ի մէնջ զցասումն պատուհասի յանցանաց մերոց բարերարութեամբ քով: Ներեա՛ եւ լո՛ւր մեզ. քաւեա՛ եւ թո՛ղ զմեղս մեր: Արժանաւորեա՛ գոհութեամբ փառաւորել զքեզ ընդ Հօր եւ ընդ Որդւոյն միածնի. այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն:

Priest: With your peace, Holy Spirit, True God, who is beyond all understanding and imagining, comfort the souls of your servants, accept our prayers. Make the anger of punishment for our sins pass through your beneficence. Forgive us and hear us. Pardon and remit our sins.
