Deacon: From the East to the West in all places of Christendom where the name of the Lord is called upon in holiness, may the Lord, through the prayers and intercessions of the faithful, have mercy upon us. With vows let us beseech God that he may deliver us from our sins and worldly desires, that he may accept the vows and requests of our hearts and may make us worthy with all his saints of his faith and his commandments. Almighty Lord, our God, save us and have mercy upon us.
Priest: Save us, Lord, and have mercy on us.
Deacon: That we may pass this morning of light and the whole day in peace, let us ask of the Lord in faith.

Priest: From the East to the West you are blessed, O Lord, for you are a merciful King and your name is fearful in the entire world. Let our psalm be acceptable in your sight. Let justice from your righteousness come forth unto our weakness. Let your all- holy name be glorified, and may we be worthy to remain in the way of your commandments and to sing blessing and glory to you, with the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always, for ever and ever. They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them. They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
