Get to the Root of It!<\/b>\u00a0aims to give an understanding and appreciation of the Armenian language as it has been used for 1600 years as the Armenian Church’s medium of worship. The 10 Tutorials present the structure, key words and phrases of the Badarak (Holy Communion) in the Armenian Church along with Armenian Church Calendar, which sets the rhythm of Armenian life.
\nBecause Armenian is distantly related to English, Get to the Root of It! treats Church Armenian as an extension of English language competence. Surprisingly, Church Armenian is easier to learn than conversational Armenian, since many words are repeated and are related to English words.<\/p>\n
