8:1 Մի՛ հակառակիր ընդ առն հզօրի, գուցէ անկցիս ՛ի ձեռս նորա:

8:4 Ընդ առն լեզուանւոյ մի՛ կռուիր, զի ՛ի վերայ հրոյ փայտ դիզես:

8:14 Ո՛րդեակ` ընդ առն թշնամանողի զբերան քո մի՛ բանար, զի իբրեւ զդարանակալ արշաւեսցէ ՛ի վերայ քո:
| 8:11 Rise not up [in anger] at the presence of an injurious person, lest he lie in wait to entrap thee in thy words:

8:15 Առն հզօրի փոխ մի՛ տար, եւ թէ տաս` համարեա՛ թէ կորուսեր:
| 8:12 Lend not unto him that is mightier than thyself; for if thou lendest him, count it but lost:

8:16 Առն հարստի երաշխաւոր մի՛ մտցես, ապա թէ ոչ` տուժել հոգասջիր:

8:17 Ընդդէմ դատաւորի ոսոխ մի՛ կար` զի մի՛ ըստ փառաց նորա դատեսցեն զքեզ:

8:18 Ճանապարհ ընդ համարձակ մարդոյ մի՛ երթար, զի մի՛ զամենայն ինչ ՛ի վերայ քո ծանրացուսցէ. զի նա զոր առնէ` ըստ կամս իւր առնէ, եւ դու յանմտութենէ նորա կորնչիս:
| 8:15 Travel not by the way with a bold fellow, lest he become grievous unto thee: for he will do according to his own will, and thou shalt perish with him through his folly:

8:19 Մի՛ գնար մէն ընդ առն բարկացողի, եւ մի՛ կագիր ընդ նմա. զի յաչս նորա թեթեւ թուի արիւն:
| 8:16 Strive not with an angry man, and go not with him into a solitary place: for blood is as nothing in his sight, and where there is no help, he will overthrow thee:

8:20 Ո՛րդեակ` ՛ի խորհուրդ մի՛ մտաներ ընդ առն մորոսի, զի յինքն ո՛չ կարէ պահել զբանս քո:

8:21 Օտարաց առաջի զգաղտնի գործ մի՛ գործեր, զի զպատահումն քո ՛ի նոցանէ ո՛չ գիտես:

8:22 Զսիրտ քո ամենայն մարդոյ մի՛ տարածաներ, զի մի՛ տարապարտուց շնորհս վարկանիցեն քեզ:
| 8:19 Open not thine heart to every man, lest he requite thee with a shrewd turn:
