79:1 Ի կատարած. ի վերայ զառանցելոցն վկայութիւն. Ասափայ Սաղմոս, ի վերայ Եթւովպացւոցն:

79:2 Որ հովուեսդ Իսրայելի` նայեաց, որ առաջնորդես որպէս խաշին Յովսեփու. որ նստիսդ ի քերովբէս` յայտնեաց:
| 79:1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest [between] the cherubims, shine forth:

79:3 Առաջի Եփրեմի, Բենիամինի եւ Մանասէի, զարթո զզօրութիւն քո, եւ եկ ի կեցուցանել զմեզ:
| 79:2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come [and] save us:
|
79:4 Աստուած [510]զօրութեանց, դարձո զմեզ, երեւեցո զերեսս քո ի մեզ եւ կեցցուք:
| 79:3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved:
|
79:5 Տէր Աստուած զօրութեանց, մինչեւ յե՞րբ բարկանաս յաղօթս ծառայից քոց:
| 79:4 O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people:
|
79:6 Ջամբեցեր [511]մեզ հաց արտասուաց, եւ արբուցեր [512]մեզ արտասուս [513]չափով:
| 79:5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure:
|
79:7 Արարեր զմեզ նախատինս դրացեաց մերոց, այպն կատականաց թշնամեաց մերոց:
| 79:6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves:
|
79:8 Աստուած զօրութեանց, դարձո զմեզ, երեւեցո զերեսս քո ի մեզ եւ կեցցուք:
| 79:7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved:
|
79:9 Այգի յԵգիպտոսէ փոխեցեր, հաներ զհեթանոսս եւ զնոսա տնկեցեր:
| 79:8 Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it:
|
79:10 եւ առաջնորդեցեր նմա, հաստատեցեր զարմատս նորա եւ ելից զերկիր:
| 79:9 Thou preparedst [room] before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land:
|
79:11 Ծածկեաց զլերինս հովանի նորա, եւ բարունակ նորա զմայրս Աստուծոյ:
| 79:10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof [were like] the goodly cedars:
|
79:12 Ձգեաց զորթ իւր մինչեւ ի ծով, մինչեւ ի Գետ են շառաւեղք նորա:
| 79:11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river:
|
79:13 Ընդէ՞ր քակեցեր զցանգ նորա, կթեն զնա անցաւորք ճանապարհի:
| 79:12 Why hast thou [then] broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her:
|
79:14 Ապականեաց զնա խոզ անտառի, եւ երէ վայրի արածեցաւ ի նմա:
| 79:13 The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it:
|
79:15 Աստուած զօրութեանց, դարձ հայեաց յերկնից եւ տես, այց արա այգւոյս այսմիկ:
| 79:14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine:
|
79:16 եւ դարման տար սմա զոր տնկեաց աջ քո, ի վերայ որդւոյ մարդոյ` զոր զօրացուցեր զնա ի քեզ:
| 79:15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch [that] thou madest strong for thyself:
|
79:17 Այրեցեալ ի հուր եւ աւերեալ, ի սաստէ քումմէ կորիցեն:
| 79:16 It is burned with fire, [it is] cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance:
|
79:18 Եղիցի ձեռն քո ի վերայ առն, աջ քո ի վերայ որդւոյ մարդոյ` զոր զօրացուցեր զնա ի քեզ:
| 79:17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man [whom] thou madest strong for thyself:

79:19 Ոչ եւս ի բացեայ եղիցուք մեք ի քէն. կեցուսցես դու զմեզ, եւ զանուն քո կարդասցուք:
| 79:18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name:
|
79:20 Տէր Աստուած զօրութեանց, դարձո զմեզ, երեւեցո զերեսս քո ի մեզ եւ կեցցուք:
| 79:19 Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved:
