51:2 ի ժամանակի զի եկն Դովեկ Եդովմայեցի պատմեաց Սաւուղի, թէ` Ահաւասիկ Դաւիթ ի տան Աքիմելիքայ է:
| 51:1 when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech:

51:3 Զի՞ [306]պարծի ի չարութեան, հզօր, [307]զանօրէնութիւն:
| 51:2 KJV [1] Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God [endureth] continually:
|
51:4 զօրհանապազ զանիրաւութիւն`` խորհեցաւ ի լեզուի իւրում, որպէս ածելի սուր սրեաց զնենգութիւն:
| 51:3 KVJ [2] Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully:
|
51:5 Սիրեաց զչարութիւն քան զբարութիւն. զանօրէնութիւն քան զխօսս արդարութեան:[308]:
| 51:4 KJV [3] Thou lovest evil more than good; [and] lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah:

51:6 Սիրեաց նա զամենայն խօսս կործանման, եւ զլեզուս նենգաւորս:
| 51:5 KJV [4] Thou lovest all devouring words, O [thou] deceitful tongue:
|
51:7 Վասն այսորիկ Աստուած կործանեսցէ զնա ի սպառ, խլեսցէ եւ հանցէ զնա ի յարկաց իւրոց եւ զարմատս նորա յերկրէն կենդանեաց:[309]:
| 51:6 KJV [5] God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of [thy] dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah:

51:8 Տեսցեն արդարք եւ երկիցեն, զնովաւ ծիծաղեսցին եւ ասասցեն:
| 51:7 KJV [6] The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

51:9 Այս այր է որ ոչ արար զԱստուած իւր օգնական, այլ յուսացաւ սա ի բազում մեծութիւն իւր, եւ զօրացաւ ի նանրութեան իւրում:
| 51:8 KJV [7] Lo, [this is] the man [that] made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, [and] strengthened himself in his wickedness:

51:10 Այլ ես որպէս ձիթենի պտղալից ի տան Աստուծոյ. յուսացայ յողորմութիւն Աստուծոյ յաւիտեան եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից:
| 51:9 KJV [8] But I [am] like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever:

51:11 Խոստովան եղէց քեզ յաւիտեան զի արարեր, եւ համբերից անուան քում, զի քաղցր է առաջի սրբոց քոց:
| 51:10 KJV [9] I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done [it]: and I will wait on thy name; for [it is] good before thy saints:
