Play acting is attractive on the stage where the actors play,
but repulsive in real life where real people live.
That’s why the players on the stage are people of talent,
and the players in life are crude hypocrites.
Everything, everywhere is a show for them,
and nowadays our life more like a theatrical stage,
and that stage, though small, is flooded with actors . . .
Assuming various roles, with their showmanship
they have permeated every aspect of our lives.
